Hello and welcome.
I have been a qualified Clinical Psychologist for over a decade and have worked across a range of settings including the NHS, local authorities, and private practice. Over that time I have developed particular expertise in the areas I now focus on most closely: anxiety, mood-related difficulties, and ADHD.
I support adults, young people, and families who may be struggling with persistent anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low mood, anger, or the sense of being constantly on edge. I also work with people who are trying to better understand how their mind works, particularly where questions around attention, focus, and ADHD may be part of the picture.
My work is grounded in clinical psychology, and I place a strong emphasis on developing a clear psychological understanding of what is happening and why. A central part of the work is translating insight into practical ways of thinking, responding, and doing things differently in everyday life, so that people leave sessions not only with greater clarity but with useful strategies they can apply outside of therapy.
People often describe my approach as warm, calm, and straightforward. Sessions are collaborative and focused on what matters most to you. I draw on established, evidence-based psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), compassion-focused approaches, and trauma-informed practice, always adapting these to the individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.
All sessions are delivered online, allowing people to access specialist clinical psychology support in a flexible and confidential way.
Outside of my work, I enjoy mountain biking, photography, and football, and I am also a proud father of two young children, who fill up most of my time when I am not working.
